Data privacy is very important to us at TIHIL.We comply with national laws and do our utmost to protect your data from unauthorized access.
The data provided by you (e.g. Pictures) are handled with high confidentiality. They are not sold to anyone and are not freely given away. The copyright stays with you. The pictures uploaded by you are solely used to run our platform.
TIHIL allows the connection to Facebook’s ‚Share‘-function in order to share Places on Facebook. The same applies to Twitter. On registration, your account is automatically set to allow the sharing of your place by other users. This means other users on TIHIL can share pictures of your place among their friends on Facebook or twitter followers. If you do not want this, you can change the setting and deactivate the ‚Share‘-function for other social media platforms.
If you decide to delete your account, all the comments made by you will stay online but are anonymized.
We rely on income from advertisement to provide the platform. We use location information provided by you to present you with localized advertisement. We are not going to use the location information provided by your for any other purpose.
Pictures, e.g. taken with mobile phones and modern digital cameras, may contain data on the location of the picture. We may read this data for the above mentioned purpose of presenting localized advertisement to you.
If laws are violated by users of our platform and authorities are investigating a certain user, we will cooperate with the authorities and support any investigation by provision of needed data we may be in possession of.
